the sorting process in order to remove the oversizes above the roller bed.<\/p>\n<p>The fruit leaves the roller bed via a chute and can be transported out of the tower on a conveyor belt either to the right or left.<\/p>\n<p>The roller gap is set via a central adjustment per field and can be easily adapted to the goods to be sorted, even during operation. The max. Adjustment is on the:<\/p>\n<p>1st sorting field 20 &#8211; 60 mm<\/p>\n<p>2nd sorting field 15 &#8211; 45 mm<\/p>\n<p>3rd sorting field 6 &#8211; 30 mm<\/p>\n<p>etc.<\/p>\n<div align=\"left\">\n<p>The rollers are driven by a revolving chain and are adjustable via a central motor in a <strong>control range of 1 : 5<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The sorting fields are stacked on top of each other in the tower. Each sort field results in a sort and an overflow. The product is fed onto the top sorting field by a scraper conveyor distributor belt.<\/p>\n<p>The main advantage of our tower sorter over the conventional sorting system is <strong>that the larger fruit is sorted first<\/strong> and therefore cannot block the path of the smaller fruit.
