EME Engler Machines

Manufacturer of machines and systems for the food and chemical industries.

Valuable raw materials such as cabbage, spinach, berries, nuts or even almonds, bean sprouts and olives are used to produce first-class food.

However, before they leave production, they undergo numerous processing steps.

EME Engler offers the right solution for each of these steps – from processing the raw materials to modern filling and cooking systems and innovative technologies for sorting, cleaning and automation.

Merger with Steiner Apparatebau GmbH

Cooking systems for the food industry

The company Steiner Apparatebau GmbH was merged with the company EME Engler Maschinen in Heilbronn. At the same time, the company headquarters were relocated to Heilbronn.

The long friendship and business relationship between Mr. Wolf Rüdiger Steiner and Mr. Joachim Engler provided the basis for not letting the company Steiner Apparatebau GmbH expire, but to continue the company through Mr. Joachim Engler.

The supply of spare parts and support for new machines in the Steiner range is therefore still guaranteed.

Development of a new roller sorting principle
for chunky products such as cucumbers or cherries. First use of this technology in the ROTOS roller sorting machine

Development of the stone fruit de-stalking plant
SUPRA E10 with patented roller drive with quick-change adapter system

Presentation of the high-performance sauerkraut filling machine
Type SCHUME with a revolutionary rotary system to multiply the filling capacity

Delivery of the first side tamper
for protruding products in glass containers upstream of the capping systems
1981
Development of a completely new technology
for the non-destructive and weight-accurate filling of spinach leaves into folding cartons. This machine was the first system of its kind to be used in Switzerland

Delivery of the first DIPMASTER
Systemes for gentle filling of sensitive products, e.g. soy seedlings

Generation change
Joachim Engler takes over the management of the company

Process development
for more gentle product handling and weight-accurate sauerkraut filling in the high-performance range up to 550 cans per minute

Patenting of a special filling valve
for vacuum fillers with excellent hygiene properties

Further development of the SUPRA E10
for unpacking mispackaged confectionery, e.g. chocolate bars, sweets, etc. First machine of this type on the market.

Expansion of the product range
through the development of our own in-line piston filling machines

Design and production
the first combined cup stacking / filling and lid return system for high-viscosity products such as hand wash paste

Development of a completely new filling technology
for lumpy products of all kinds in combi-block packs. Highly compact design for complete integration into an existing process sequence

Design, manufacture and delivery
a hand-packing line for ice cream confectionery in a cold store, room temperature – 6˚ C. Consisting of: 3 specially adapted product hoppers, a filling table, conveyor belt, roller conveyor, inkjet marking (heated), carton sealer
